  1. As the cultivation of industrial hemp is permitted exclusively in the state of Uttarakhand, the joining farmer's property must be located in the state of Uttarakhand.
  2. The listed property must have clear titles backed by traceability and all the original documents necessary.
An industrial hemp cultivation license is not necessary to collaborate with us. Following our agreement and other formalities, we assist the farmer on the best path to acquire the required licenses from the relevant authorities.
If a farmer or farmer group interested in collaborating with us already possesses a license for industrial hemp cultivation from the relevant authorities, we can enter into an agreement and jump straight to further requirements and process such as soil testing, implementing rules and regulations on the farm as per the license, training on technical know-how and machinery, and finally beginning cultivation.
Yes. You absolutely are eligible. Transforming barren land into fertile land is one of our priorities at Namrata Hemp Company. Collaborating with partners who possess barren land helps us deliver on our promise to transform barren land while protecting the sensitive Himalayan ecosystem.
We engage exclusively in organic and sustainable farming. Usage of chemical fertilizers and herbicides is not permitted as per the terms of our collaboration. We take it upon ourselves to provide genuine and certified organic fertilizers, made from pure plant extracts that are safe for the flora and fauna of the land.
As per the existing policy of the state of Uttarakhand, we can only cultivate industrial hemp. Therefore, our focus will be mainly on the cultivation of hemp crops for Industrial Hemp Fiber Production.
As per the Uttarakhand Hemp Policy we are only permitted to use hemp stalks and seeds for industrial purposes. The leaves, flowers, and their extracts cannot be sold commercially. Hence, we transform the leaves and flowers into an organic and potent organic fertilizer for the following crops. Moreover, there will be no production of flowers in our hemp fiber crops.
No, we do not sell cultivar hemp seeds. And as per the agreement, we will buy 100% of the harvested crop.
If the Uttarakhand policy permits the cultivation of medicinal hemp crops, we will act in accordance with the policy and will evaluate if your land is suitable for Medicinal Hemp Cultivation. However, we will have to revise the terms and conditions of our collaboration as per the new policy in this case.
